I hate to disappoint you, but that interview isn't scheduled until next week.* No, Rebecca invited authors Jo Schaffer, Frank Cole, and I in to discuss the Teen Author Boot Camp, a writing conference for teens put on by my brilliant writing good and hosted by UVU.
As I walked into the studio my palms began to sweat and my mouth went completely dry. I'm talking tongue sticking to the roof of my mouth dry. Twenty-five minutes of me on public radio. Do you know how much damage I can do in TWENTY-FIVE MINUTES!
Thankfully Rebecca was an exceptional host and guided our discussion along beautifully. I'm happy to report that my voice only turkey called (awkward, high-pitched shaking) once, and I only divulged a couple of humiliating childhood experiences.
All in all, a huge success for me. Hopefully it reached a few people and cast the conference in good light.
